Are you wondering if you’re experiencing a dental emergency? Maybe you think if you ignore it, it will get better in time. That’s never a good approach as doing so may make matters worse. For example, if you have an abscess, the infection could spread, or you might need more extensive treatment down the road. Instead, contact our dental office so we can assess your situation and decide on the best way to proceed.

Offering Same-Day Emergency Dentistry
When you have an emergency, you don’t want to be told you can’t get in on the same day. That’s why we offer same-day appointments for those patients with a dental emergency.
What Can You Do at Home
Until you can get into our office, here are some steps you can take to address common emergencies:
Missing or broken teeth. After locating your tooth, carefully rinse it in milk or saline if it’s dirty. You can store the tooth in either of these solutions in a cup that you bring in to your appointment.
Lost crowns or fillings. Keep your restoration and bring it in with you to your appointment. Refrain from chewing on that side of your mouth until we’ve seen you.
Bleeding. To stop bleeding, use gauze or a clean cloth, applying pressure to the area. It may be necessary for us to apply sutures to your gums, cheeks or lips.
