Originally from the UK, Dr Hodkinson studied dentistry at the University of Bristol, where she graduated with distinction and earned the third-highest mark in her class over the five-year program. Following her studies, she worked across two general dental practices in the North of England, gaining a wide breadth of experience with individuals and families.
Why Dentistry Felt Like the Right Choice
From an early age, Dr Hodkinson knew she wanted to work in healthcare, combining her love of science with her desire to help others. “I always thought I wanted to be a medical doctor up until 15, when I shadowed in my own dentist’s surgery for several weeks and knew instantly that dentistry was the career for me.”

When she’s not looking after patients, Dr Hodkinson enjoys the lifestyle that drew her and her partner to Australia. You might spot her exploring the newest coffee shops and brunch spots in Tweed Heads, fine-tuning her latte art at home, or competing in Hyrox events. She also enjoys running and spending time outdoors to soak up the sunshine. Having grown up in the countryside near Sheffield, she’s embraced the relaxed rhythm and balance of life here.
